We have been made aware that there is very little accommodation available in Ballarat for the weekend of the MTBO Champs due to the recent
Orienteering Victoria welcomes competitors to the 2026 Australian Mountain Bike Orienteering Championships, to be conducted near Creswick and Ballarat, on the traditional lands of the the Wadawurrung and Dja Dja Wurrung people.
The four Championship events will be held at Creswick and Ballarat with a model event at Ballan. Ballarat and Creswick are both approximately 120km from Melbourne and Melbourne airport. The events will feature new or updated maps that will provide an excellent orienteering experience suited to riders of all ages and experience levels.
As well as championship age classes there will be e-Bikes classes and also a non-championship Explorer Score Course.
