The 2026 Australian MTBO Championships will be held in Ballarat & Creswick, Victoria from 8 to 11 October 2026.

The Victorian Schools MTBO Championship will take place on Thursday morning at Bungal Forest near Ballan.

A warm-up event will be available at Bungal Forest near Ballan. Riders can do this event on Thursday afternoon on their way to Ballarat/Creswick.

The sprint event will be a campus map at Federation University in Ballarat on a new MTBO map.
Saturday 10 October, Ballarat
Will be held at the North Ballarat Sports Club on Saturday evening from 5:45pm for drinks and chatting with dinner commencing at 6: 30 pm.
There will be presentations for the Mass Start, Middle Distance, and Sprint Distance races and a chance to acknowledge the efforts of our course setters, controllers and organising team.
The dinner will include 2 courses plus nibbles. Cost is $52 for adults and $32 for children 13 and younger.
